Aftercare

Here are some general aftercare instructions for microblading:

For the first 7 days:

• Keep the area clean and dry: Avoid getting the area wet, including during showers. Ensure that no, lotion, soap, or makeup touches your eyebrow area. 
• Use a gentle cleanser to wash your face, avoiding the brow area.
• Apply aftercare ointment: Use a thin layer of aftercare ointment provided by your technician, following their specific instructions.  
• Avoid picking or scratching: Resist the urge to pick at scabs or scratch the area, as this can cause scarring or uneven fading.  
• Avoid direct sunlight: Protect the area from direct sunlight to prevent fading.  
• Avoid makeup: Refrain from applying makeup on the brow area.
• Avoid sweating: Limit activities that cause excessive sweating, such as exercise or saunas.  

After 7 days:

• Moisturize: Continue to moisturize the area with a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer.
• Protect from sun: Use sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher to protect the area from sun damage.  
• You may experience itching and flaking during the first week. Refrain from picking or scratching to prevent premature scab removal, which can lead to patchy results or scarring. 
• Avoid harsh products: Avoid using harsh skincare products or exfoliants on the brow area.  

Additional tips:

• Be patient: The healing process takes time, and the final results may not be visible for several weeks.  
• Schedule a touch-up: A touch-up appointment is usually recommended 4-6 weeks after the initial procedure to address any areas that may need additional pigment.
