WILL MY EYEBROWS CONTINUE TO GROW AFTER MICROBLADING? WILL I STILL NEED SALON VISITS?
Microblading doesn’t affect natural hair growth, but once your brow shape is defined, new hair won’t disturb it. You can skip salon threading visits and use electronic or manual brow shapers to tidy up around the designed shape, saving time on makeup and salon trips.
IS MICROBLADING SAFE? ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?
Safety of the client is paramount, with sterilized, FDA-approved products ensuring a comfortable experience. There’s minimal risk of allergic reactions due to the highest quality standards in the industry.
DO I NEED TIME OFF WORK AFTER MICROBLADING?
No it is not required. Redness and swelling subside within an hour, and although brows may initially appear darker, daily activities aren’t hindered.

After shaping and cleaning the brows, a numbing cream is applied for 30-45 minutes. Color swatches are reviewed, and measurements are taken before the needling process begins, implanting pigment with featherweight strokes. Any discomfort is addressed with additional numbing cream. A final layer of pigment is applied for 5 minutes, and the area is cleaned for beautiful brows. WHY IS THERE A TOUCH-UP SESSION, AND WHEN DOES IT OCCUR?
The top-up session, scheduled after 2-3 weeks, allows for assessment, additional strokes, and pigment adjustments for optimal results.
Aftercare
Here are some general aftercare instructions for microblading:
For the first 7 days:
- Keep the area clean and dry: Avoid getting the area wet, including during showers. Ensure that no, lotion, soap, or makeup touches your eyebrow area.
- Use a gentle cleanser to wash your face, avoiding the brow area.
- Apply aftercare ointment: Use a thin layer of aftercare ointment provided by your technician, following their specific instructions.
- Avoid picking or scratching: Resist the urge to pick at scabs or scratch the area, as this can cause scarring or uneven fading.
- Avoid direct sunlight: Protect the area from direct sunlight to prevent fading.
- Avoid makeup: Refrain from applying makeup on the brow area.
- Avoid sweating: Limit activities that cause excessive sweating, such as exercise or saunas.
After 7 days:
- Moisturize: Continue to moisturize the area with a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer.
- Protect from sun: Use sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher to protect the area from sun damage.
- You may experience itching and flaking during the first week. Refrain from picking or scratching to prevent premature scab removal, which can lead to patchy results or scarring.
- Avoid harsh products: Avoid using harsh skincare products or exfoliants on the brow area.
Additional tips:
- Be patient: The healing process takes time, and the final results may not be visible for several weeks.
- Schedule a touch-up: A touch-up appointment is usually recommended 4-6 weeks after the initial procedure to address any areas that may need additional pigment.
