A chemical like salicylic acid, glycolic acid, trichloroacetic acid, or phenol is gently applied using a cotton ball, gauze pad, or applicator depending on the type of peel.

Reaction Phase
You may experience a stinging or tingling sensation. For medium peels, the skin may temporarily turn white or blue. In deep peels, the skin may turn white or gray.

Neutralization and Cooling
The solution is either removed or neutralized, and cold compresses are applied to soothe the skin and reduce discomfort.

If makeup is necessary, opt for a mineral powder that won’t block pores and ensure your makeup applicators are thoroughly clean to prevent bacteria buildup.

- Avoid touching: Refrain from touching your face for at least a few hours to allow the products to absorb.
- No makeup: Do not apply makeup for at least 24 hours.
- Gentle cleansing: Use a mild, fragrance-free cleanser to gently cleanse your face.
